The Highway Inn is set in the middle of the bustling village of Burford, where the beautiful River Windrush passes through. We are 30 minutes from the historic cities of Oxford and Cheltenham, as well as being centrally located to visit all of the Cotswolds....

We are a true Cotswold Pub, where locals and visitors come to mingle. Plenty of character, creaky floorboards, sloping floors and beams throughout, however modern touches subtly fit in such as free WI FI but also beautiful antiques and clutter from the past adorn all rooms.
Bedrooms in our Cotswold accommodation are individual in style but all are very cosy....power showers essential!

We are the only Cotswold Pub in the area to be awarded new entry into 3 of the Best selling Guides: The Michelin Guide, Good Pub Guide, Good Hotel Guide 2011 Alastair Sawday 2011... thank you to everyone who put us forward, and to the staff for their hard work and who performed well on the secret inspections.
COMMUNITY WORK: HAVING BEEN MADE WI PRESIDENT MY FIRST MEETING AS PRESIDENT WAS AMAZING GREAT TURNOUT, AND MY SECOND THIS MONTH EVEN BETTER ...SO For all those interested the meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month....our motto is "Every generation has a part to play" I look foward to seeing you all and making Burford WI a fun group of inspriring women of all ages and walks of life.
