There is nothing quite like turning off the A40, whether escaping London, or a nearby town and dropping down into Burford, its like another world.
If you have never visited Burford, it catches you by surprise, its one of those visions you always remember. In my opinion its one of the most wonderful views looking down such a historic high st, with a back drop of perfect rolling hills.
The Highway, our truly delightful Burford hotel, is central, amongst buildings all unique, everywhere you look there is picture to paint. Mooch around the individually owned business’s, boutiques & antique shops. There is a free Museum and an excellent visitors centre.
From Burford Oxford and Cheltenham are both 20 miles away, either way. There is Bibury just up the road, The Cotswold Wildlife Park 5 minutes away.
Wonderful architecture, rolling hills, rivers and wildlife.
