The design, look and furnishings in each bedroom are unique, designed to make the whole experience more like staying in a friend's country house, than in a hotel or pub. The rooms are quirky, some with low beams, sloping floors, creaky floor boards... so any very tall people please let us know and we will offer the most suitable rooms available for you.
All the rooms have spotless bathrooms, ensuite or Private, with efficient plumbing and LCD TV's with Freeview for a range of television channels. Several of the larger rooms specifically accommodate cots provided. And as we are in the country, certain rooms can accommodate dogs (please see dog policy).
Overall, the emphasis is on comfort, cleanliness, functionality and a healthy pinch of individuality or maybe eccentricity? We’ll let you make your own minds up on that one
Family-friendly. A cot is available for larger doubles, or a family room with a double bed and an extra single bed. Or for two children we have a double and a twin in a wing on their own next door to each other.

Magical Cotswolds Gem: Booked this hotel last minute the day before my wife's birthday as a treat night away from the kids. Customer service from the word go was second to none, so friendly and helpful. We stayed in the four poster room which was abolsutely stunning. Buford is a magical place to wander around late on a winters day in and out of all the shops. The food in the evening was stunning and amazing value for money - I'm normally a 3-course meal kind of guy but couldn't even finish a main! The breakfast has to be tried to be believed - awesome. Overall we had a lovely weekend and will definately be returning one day.

Lovely room in a gorgeous building full of character. Simple but with everything you need, and very comfortable. Tally &Scott were great hosts, and I would recommend the Highway Inn for accommodation as well as dining. Lovely breakfast!
