The Highway is a One AA Rosette pub, a Rosette doesnt mean we serve fussy expensive food, but food that is cooked properly, using the best quality ingredients. We offer great British classics such as Fish and Chips using the freshest fish and hand cut chips with homemade tartare sauce and then also offer good country fair such as local game. All our dishes are made from scratch, we bake our own breads, and make our own marmalade.
The Highway has a proper Cotswold Inn feel, not only serving excellent local produce we also offer well-conditioned ales that come from local breweries. Local Breweries, Hook Norton, Cotswold Brewing Company
We have a number of dining area’s, the main bar, two snug's, Private cellar dining room.
In Summer time we also serve food outside, where you can either watch the world go by in the High St or sit and listen to bird song in our sunny, restored medieval courtyard.

PLEASE NOTE: Whilst we take food seriously we don’t enjoy the label ‘Gastro-pub’. We are a Privately run Freehouse serving real ales and positively welcome people just popping in for a pint, in fact we have a strong local following who use us regularly – they create a warm atmosphere and give us enormous support and encouragement.
